Overview of UniCamillus

Saint Camillus International University of Health Sciences is a private Italian University, based in Rome. It exclusively teaches Health and Medical Sciences including Medicine and Surgery, Midwifery, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Radiology and more! Students graduating with a degree from UniCamillus are able to practise in any EU country.

UniCamillus also offers accommodation near the University. Each apartment consists of a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, living area, and a balcony. Students have an option between a 3 bedroom apartment or a 5 bedroom apartment.

Academic Entry Requirements:

Italian students or students recognised by the Italian Education system:

Must be awarded a secondary school diploma by a state educational institution of the Italian Education system (or equivalent in Italy or abroad)

International students or students who attended a foreign school system:

Secondary school final qualifications obtained after a minimum of 12 years of training (in Italy or abroad)

Students who completed 10-11 years of schooling and began studying in University for 1-2 years:

Secondary school qualifications obtained after 10-11 years of schooling
AND 1 or 2 years of University with at least all pass grades

Note: Students must achieve good academic results

Entry requirements:

Students are accepted based on their academic result, their UCAT results, OR their Written Examination results.

UCAT:

International students are required to sit the UCAT exam. Here, students are ranked based on their total UCAT scores. UniCamillus does not take Situational Judgement Test results into consideration when deciding interview applications.

Written Examination:

UniCamillus require EU/Home students to sit a written test in English to select future Medical students. This 70-minute test consists of multiple-choice questions on Logical, quantitative, verbal and abstract reasoning. Students are then ranked according to their overall scores and the top students are selected for an interview.

Students are required to achieve the minimum academic standards stated in the above section
Students need to score a high mark in their UCAT exams/Written exams
Students also need to do well in their interviews

Interview criteria and structure

Only the top 480 students are invited to an interview each year.

Criteria: UniCamillus searches for students who have a good predisposition to human contact, team-working skills, ability to analyse and solve problems and the ability to critically evaluate information and gain knowledge.
Structure: The interview is a one sitting interview that focuses on general culture topics that assess students’ capabilities and personal skills
